ABOUT ME
I didn't come to this work from the outside looking in.
I became a therapist because I understand, on a personal level, what it means to face the parts of yourself you'd rather avoid — the fears, the regrets, the wounds you've been quietly carrying. My own experiences have shaped the way I show up for my clients every single day.
That's not something I say lightly. It's something I mean.
I've been in practice for 25 years. I've sat with people through trauma, grief, devastating loss, the slow erosion of a marriage, the quiet despair of feeling stuck. I've watched people who had given up on themselves rebuild their lives in ways they never thought possible. That never gets old.
I started Bloom Within Collective because I wanted to do this work on my own terms, with the depth and intention it deserves, without the constraints that get in the way of real care.

My Approach
I'm not a nod-and-take-notes kind of therapist.
I'm active. I'm involved. I'll ask the question that cuts right to it. I'll also know when to slow down, sit in the silence, and just be with you in it.
One of the things I hear most from clients is that they feel understood here before they even have the words for what they're carrying. That's not an accident. After 25 years, I've developed a deep intuition for what lives underneath what people say — the patterns, the histories, the stories people have been telling themselves for so long they've forgotten that they’re actual stories.
My approach is holistic and trauma-informed, which means I'm not just looking at symptoms. I'm looking at the whole person which includes the mind, the body, the relationships, and the history. Healing isn't just cognitive. It lives in the body too. That's why I draw on somatic work, not just talk.
I also believe healing doesn't always have to be heavy. Laughter is real medicine. I bring my full self to this work, and sometimes that means finding the moment of levity in the middle of something hard.
Some of what I use in my practice:
EMDR
Somatic Experiencing
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Narrative Therapy

Outside the Office
My kids and our dog are daily reminders to slow down, laugh, and pay attention to the small things.
I hike. I spend time in nature. I stay connected to the people I love. And I do my own work because I genuinely believe you can't ask clients to go somewhere you haven't been willing to go yourself.
What inspires me: Random acts of kindness. Watching someone show up for themselves after years of hopelessness. The courage it takes to just show up.
If you've made it this far,
something brought you here.
Take the next step and I'll meet you there.
What’s In The Name
Bloom represents growth, healing, and unfolding into your fullest self. Given the right conditions — safety, care, and support — people have an innate ability to heal and flourish.
Within speaks to the internal landscape: your thoughts, emotions, beliefs, and lived experiences. True healing happens from the inside out. The answers you're looking for often already exist within you.
Collective reflects a sense of belonging and shared humanity. While growth is deeply personal, we don't heal in isolation. There is power in connection, in being truly seen, and in having someone walk alongside you.
The black butterfly in the logo isn't just decorative. It's a philosophy. Black butterflies represent quiet, personal becoming — emerging stronger and wiser after a period of darkness, loss, or difficulty. The death of what no longer serves you, and the start of something new.
Something can be dark and stuck, and then gradually, but undeniably, it can be filled with light.
